Like the Americans who fought the Battle of New Orleans after the War of 1812 had been settled, the NHL lockout still hasn't ended for Bill Daly, although the fighting long ago stopped.
Promoted to deputy commissioner in the days after the July 22 settlement, Daly has spent the past three months working with the NHL Players' Association to hammer out the final details and interpretations of the new labor agreement. [.continue.]

That's right, it aint done yet.
The new collective bargaining agreement is still being worked on.
An agreement was reached back in July, here we are three months later and we still cant see it. Thoughts of the strike, the year without hockey and the CBA are distant memories to most hockey fans now. I hope the league and the players don't come across a T that they cant figure out how to cross or an I to dot.
