Tasker vs Senn Hockey Fight
December 15, 2005
I have always loved a good hockey fight. I came across a good one today, figure I link to it.
From the ECHL, Ken Tasker of the Toledo Storm vs Trevor Senn of the Richmond Renegades. This during the 98-99 season.
Tasker fought Brashear in the LNAH (Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey) league in 2004 during the lockout.
Sphere: Related ContentYou had a chance to fight Donald Brashear, how did that go?
Well I tried to get him going all game, and was asking him to go, and he just sort of glanced over at me and said "Don't talk to me". I was like "Who the Hell are you". I give him credit because he's skating around with a big target on his back, because everyone wants to try him out. On the other hand, I try not to give him too much respect because when you're on the ice, we have a job to do and that's that. Near the end of the game he ended up bowling over one of our D, so I figured screw it. I dropped the mitts and started throwing and he wasn't fighting back really until I caught him with a solid one on his chin. Then he threw a few back at me and ended up just tying up and it broke up. He flipped off the crowd as he skated off the ice, he's a class act.

Donald Brashear is the toughest guy in the nhl. Athough he doesnt fight often when he does he has the skill and power to beat anybody. He doesnt allways fight because he contrary to popular belief is a good player who doesnt hurt his team on the ice. He is the best and everybody knows it.
I agree that Brashear is one of the toughest fighters, if not the toughest and I think that’s a problem for him. In the new NHL spending top dollar for the best fighter is not really worth it. In last nights game Brashear was on the ice for both of Gratton’s fights. It looked to me like Brashear couldn’t find a partner to go. No one wanted to fight him.
I disagree with your second point though, Brashear really isn’t that good of a player. I’m talking hockey playing skills, not fighting. His contract is up at the end of the year. I think the Flyers will not be resigning him.
[...] Oh, I found this, too: http://www.flyersfancentral.com/2005/12/15/tasker-vs-senn-hockey-fight/ He flipped off the crowd as he skated off the ice, he’s a class act. Man, he’s my new favorite Flyer, on account of not liking any of the other ones._________________It doesn’t matter what side I’m ooooooon - I always feel like I’m in the wrooooooong. [...]
