Flyers fall in season opener

The Flyers lost to the New York Rangers last night in at the Wachovia Center 4-3. Flyers
The Rangers scored 4 straight goals in the first period before the Flyers got going. Biron gave up all 4 goals before being replaced by Niittymaki. Can't lay all the blame on Biron for the first period, the Flyers came flat. Although the 3rd goal he really should have had.

Hartnell, Gagne and Richards each scored for the Flyers.
