Metropolit, Vaananen claimed off waivers

It turns out getting Daniel Briere back in the lineup was more costly than the Flyers anticipated. Center Glen Metropolit was claimed off waivers by the Montreal Canadiens and defenseman Ossi Vaananen was claimed by the Vancouver Canucks.
