Flyers vs Rangers Gameday April 9

The Flyers head to New York tonight to play the Rangers at 7pm. Flyers coming off a 2-1 win in Philly against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday. The Rangers are coming off a 3-1 over the Candians on Tuesday. The Rangers can secure a playoff spot with a win tonight, eliminating the Sabres from playoff contention. The series between the Flyers and Rangers is tied at one game a piece.

Biron will get the start in goal. Scratches for the Flyers include Ryan Parent and Hatcher. A win by the New Jersey Devils tonight or a loss by the Flyers will secure the division title for the Devils.

Carter has become the 20th player in Flyers’ history to score 45 and the first since Simon Gagne had 47 in 2005-06.
