The 2006-07 season really crushed a lot of people's confidence, and souls. Towards the end of that season and over the summer I think Paul Holmgren just wanted to focus on making the team good again. He added a lot of talented players to the Flyers depleted roster and the next season they made the playoffs and shocked most with a run to the Conference Finals
