Briere leaves practice with lower body injury

Already facing the loss of Simon Gagne, the Flyers saw Danny Briere leave the ice Friday with what appears to be another groin strain. Briere almost certainly will miss Saturday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. He missed 53 games last season with a series of groin and abdominal injuries.
