Inside the Flyers’ 3-1 loss in Phoenix

The Flyers hoped to skate out of Phoenix with at least a point, but a controversial non-call led to a tie-breaking, game-winning goal by Keith Yandle midway through the third period. The Flyers momentarily relaxed when they saw one of the linsemen raise his arm to signal an offsides during a Phoenix power play. However, the other linesman ruled the play onsides and seconds later Yandle converted. “We all thought it was offsides and the players reacted to it,” Flyers coach John Stevens said
