Monday Flyers Something

I don't know how else to describe it except as "a bit hollow" - literally and figuratively. That's Monday morning for you after one of the more historic sports weekends Philadelphia's ever seen. In the mix of candy, Sierra Nevada's, and low calorie Gatorade I do remember a lot of orange on Saturday afternoon. One thing I specifically remember was a Hurricanes goal hinting at the beginning of a comeback, and then a certain Flyer killing any notion of that on a tremendous more or less individual effort that pretty much put the game away with over 35 minutes left to play. Especially with the recent injuries the Flyers have been presented with, James van Riemsdyk has been an integral part of this young season so far.
