Emery update: Flyers Still waiting

According to Flyers GM Paul Holmgren, "We are still awaiting word on MRI results for Ray Emery." Meanwhile reports have surfaced that the Flyers have inquired about Dallas goalie Marty Turco ... TSN is also reporting that Jeff Carter will fly to Vancouver Saturday night just in case Ryan Getzlaf cannot play because of an ailing ankle. Getzlaf has said he expects to play in the tournament, but Carter has been invited for precautionary reasons. If Getzlaf pulls put, Carter will be added to the Olympic. But he cannot be added once the tournament begins.

Tonight during the second Snowmageddon of the week, we have the second meeting of the week between the Flyers and Devils. In Mondays dramatic game, Mike Richards, Kimmo Timmonen and Michael Leighton all helped the Flyers overcome a 2-0 deficit and win 3-2. Jeff Carter's crushing hit and JVR's amazing indivual efforts also contributed to the thrilling comeback. What does tonight have in store for us in Newark? Looking out my office window, it looks like alot of drinking.
