Anticipation….

No long-winded post today about what's already happened. I can barely get any work done, with this excitement ahead, let alone provide in-depth analysis about what I've seen so far. I was satisfied with the Flyers' win in Game 1; I was dissatisfied by the Devils winning Game 2; I was more than satisfied with the Flyers perseverance in the face of horrid officiating (no consistency, of course)

Flyers lead Series 2-1.
The Flyers won the first game of the series 2-1 behind a strong effort in goal by Brian Boucher.
The Devils took game 2 when Flyers gave up a shorthanded goal and then lost the tie late in the 3rd period.
The Flyers won their first home game in overtime with Dan Carcillo scoring the game winner.
No games on Versus, or NBC. The only series NOT on Versus at some point.

This series could be 3-0. This series SHOULD be 3-0. After Sunday's dramatic overtime winner, the Flyers look to push the Devils to the brink tonight as they host game 4 of this best of seven series. After a game marred with penalites and dramatic finishes, Philly will look to continue its defensive mastery over the Devils forwards, while continuing to find holes in Marty Brodeur. This series has been exactly what one would expect when New Jersey and Philly square off. It's been physical, tight and chippy. End-to-end action is replaced with puck posession and special teams play. Games like this can go either way, and thankfully, it's been the extra effort the Flyers have been showing that's garnered them a 2-1 series lead.

The Flyers took over much of Game 3 before winning in overtime and they need to continue building on the things they've
