Inside Flyers’ 3-0 win over Habs in Game 4
--The Flyers blocked a series-high 27 shots, led by D Matt Carle’s six. -- The Flyers are 18-2 when holding a 3-1 series lead in the playoffs. The only times they’ve been beaten is in the 2000 conference finals against the Devils and in the 1988 division semifinals against the Capitals. --G Michael Leighton’s three shutouts in one series is a Flyers record. The last time it happened in the NHL was in 2004 when Ed Belfour did it for Toronto and Nikolai Khabibulin for Tampa Bay. --After losing the faceoff battles in each of the first three games, the Flyers were excellent on draws in Game 4, winning 68 percent of them. Mike Richards and Claude Giroux each won 11 faceoffs and Danny Briere was a perfect 5-for-5.
