Briere treats kids to tickets for Game 6!

Press Release: Danny Briere has one of the biggest games of his life tonight. Preparation includes strict concentration and countless practice hours. But in addition to all the hype and excitement felt by this popular NHL star, Briere couldn’t help but of think of children in need. “I’ve been extremely lucky,” began Briere, “I am doing what I love to do, and playing in a series every hockey player dreams of. I wanted to share this moment, not only with my friends and family, but with a few kids that are in a need of a reason to smile!” So, with that in mind, Briere arranged for three children who are being treated for cancer at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, to attend Game 6 tonight in a luxury suite. The children, ages 2, 11 and 17, will be joined by their families and Danny Briere’s parents. This act of charity is nothing new to Briere, nor is helping kids with cancer
