The event is a two week online auction which gives supporters the opportunity to bid on a meal for themselves and up to nine friends – provided by one of the area’s most celebrated restaurants or caterers – with the star of their choice. Walker Facing Surgery

As I Tweeted earlier this afternoon, Flyer defenseman Matt Walker may need hip surgery. General manager Paul Holmgren met with the media today and said the club is awaiting another opinion from a doctor and look to make a decision on surgery by the end of weekend. "We’re still not sure what direction we’re going here,” Holmgren said. Walker would miss "significant" time, he said.

Flyers Don't Kill Lightning When Given Chance

Last night was the perfect example of not squashing your opponent when given the chance, and then having him come back to stab you in the face. Just like a movie villain who prattles on and on to the hero he's captured, all the while he should be choking that mother fucker out with some barbed-wire, or some barbed-wired tattooed arms.   After the Flyers tied it up on the Ukranian Trainian (eh)'s nice back door goal the boys, and Sean O'Donnell, in Orange and Black had a number of opportunities, even when shorthanded, to gain the lead and even grab that insurance goal. They didn't and then they ended up in a hole after some busta ass goal. And then could never climb out.
