Flyers Gameday: Blue Jackets

After thoroughly handling the Maple Leafs on Saturday night, the Flyers hit the road to O-H-I-O to take on Rick Nash and the Columbus Blue Jackets.  Both teams battled hard for two points on Saturday, and with an important week ahead, the Flyers will look to start it off right with some Monday night hockey. Recently, scientists conducting a science report concluded that, and I quote, "the Bluejackets suck butt". Sure, the BJ's play in a great barn, right in downtown Columbus, and have one of the best players in the game wearing the 'C'. But thats about it.  Seriously.  RJ Umberger is their second biggest star.  If Umby was still on the Flyers, he be stuck somewhere on the third line on the depth chart.  Nate Guenin.  Nate fucking Guenin plays on the Blue Jackets.  Did you read that last sentence, because I said Nate Guenin plays on the Blue Jackets. Frankly, I feel bad for the Jackets.  A small market with 4 potential playoff teams in their same division.  It would be like the Islanders in Kansas City.

It's a devoted Flyers blog written by a paraplegic blind guy from...nah, I have no idea who it's written by. But I like it

Meltzer's Musings: Flyers-Leafs Wrapup & Phantoms-Hershey

The Flyers utterly dominated the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, winning a 5-2 game that easily could have been one of the most lopsided scores in recent club history had Jean-Sabastien Giguere not single-handedly kept his club in the game for two periods. There are nights where shot totals can be deceptive. This wasn't one of them, although Toronto actually checked well for the first 6:30 of
