Flyers recall Eric Wellwood from Phantoms
The Flyers announced today that they have recalled 5’11â€, 179-pound left wing Eric Wellwood from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren. Wellwood will be available for tonight’s game against the Montreal Canadiens and will wear No. 47. Wellwood, 20 (3-6-1990), will join the Flyers for the second time this season. He was previously recalled on November 1 and made his NHL debut that night against Carolina.
