Flyers name Joe Patterson Phantoms coach

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have named Joe Paterson the head coach of the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren. John Paddock, who had been serving as the interim head coach of the Phantoms since November 8, will return full-time to his duties as assistant general manager of the Flyers.

Flyers Gameday w/ Updates: 12/20/10 vs Panthers

PREVIEW 10 AM In their final game before an eight-day holiday hiatus, the Flyers (22-7-5) need to avoid taking an early mental vacation when they meet up with the Florida Panthers (14-16-0) at the Wells Fargo Center tonight. Philly has already played Florida once this season, cruising to a 5-2 victory on home ice on Nov.
