Yesterday’s Lessons From The West

Courtesy: ESPN.com With a game today, I don’t know how much the Flyers got to relax and catch yesterdays games. In case they didn’t, they missed out on a lot of valuable information. On the off chance that they come across this site, here’s what they need to know: Vancouver won the first 3 games of the series, and were looking to close things out. They had been completely dominant for 180 straight minutes. Last night, they were flat from the opening face-off until the last 4 minutes of the game.

Danny’s Diary: Quiet night, ready for meetings

Join Flyers center Danny Briere as he takes you through the highs and lows of Round 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs against his former team, the Buffalo Sabres: Yesterday we had practice in the afternoon. They close the practices so nobody can get in. You'll see some fans around the rink when you leave who yell things, but they try to keep us away from most of that commotion. After that we had our usual team meal the night before a game. It was a classic, typical night before a playoff night when you don't do much.
