Courtesy: NHL.com I did alright on the first round picks , so here’s the breakdown of the second round: Eastern Conference Semifinals 1) Washington Capitals vs 5) Tampa Bay Lightning Neither of their first round series went as I predicted. The Caps played much better than I expected (I thought they’d lose), and Tampa struggled more than I thought they would. Anyway, all the “experts” will be talking about the offensive stars in this game and expecting a high scoring series

JVR “maintenance day,†Leighton lower body
According to Flyers GM Paul Holmgren, RW James van Riemsdyk had a "maintenance day" today and did not practice. G Michael Leighton also sat out today's practice with what Holmgren termed a "lower body injury." C Jeff Carter (knee) and LW Andreas Nodl (eye) did not practice and are being listed as day-to-day.
