Join Flyers center Danny Briere as he takes you through the highs and lows of Round 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs against his former team, the Buffalo Sabres: Yesterday was quite the roller coaster once again. The whole series has been the ups and downs of emotions. We did celebrate for a few minutes in the dressing room but right after it was on the plane and thinking about the next one already. The goal is to send them home, to win four games and clinch the series, so yesterday was a huge win to force a Game 7 but there’s still one more game in the series left and that’s where the focus went almost immediately.

The Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series between the Flyers and Sabres has been a six-game labyrinth of in-game plot twists, controversial calls and 32 goals split evenly between the two teams (not counting a Philadelphia empty netter in Game 3) but scored by very different means.
