2011-12 Schedule Is Out

Courtesy: bukisa.com Somewhere, kids are sitting on a sidewalk, lacing up their rollerblades for some street hockey. It’s the only thing they have until the cold weather returns. After the awards ceremony two nights ago, the 2010-11 season has mostly been put to rest. And while nobody wants summer to pass by too quickly, there are little reminders than next season isn’t really that far away. Yesterday, the 2011-12 schedule came out.

Meltzer’s Musings: Reaction to Dual Blockbuster Deals

In looking at the Flyers two blockbuster trades and the signing of Ilya Bryzgalov to a nine-year contract that will carry a $5.6 million cap hit, my initial reaction is simply to wait and see what else the team does over draft weekend and during the free agency period.
