Comcast Sportsnet Training Camp Coverage

Comcast SportsNet, the home of the Philadelphia Flyers, has complete coverage of the 2011 Flyers Training camp including preseason games, a live taping of “Meet the Flyers” and extensive on-air and online coverage. Comcast SportsNet’s news team will have extensive daily coverage of Flyers Training Camp in the network’s signature news program, “SportsNite.” In addition Flyers’ players, coaches and front office personnel will join “Daily News Live” to discuss the latest news on the team throughout the preseason. Meet The Flyers
“Meet The Flyers,” presented by Virtua, is a one-hour television special on Comcast SportsNet that offers fans a sneak preview of the upcoming season and allows fans to get to know the Philadelphia Flyers. The show will be taped in front of a live studio audience on Sunday, September 18th at 2 p.m. at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Seating is limited and will begin at 12:30 p.m.

“Meet The Flyers,” will be hosted by Comcast SportsNet’s Jim Jackson and Keith Jones, along with Steve Coates and Lisa Hillary. The entire Flyers team will appear live including: Chris Pronger, Danny Briere, Wayne Simmonds, Jakub Voracek, Jaromir Jagr, Brayden Schenn, Kimmo Timonen, Braydon Coburn, Andrej Meszaros, Matt Carle, Oskars Bartulis, Andreas Lilja, Ilya Bryzgalov, Scott Hartnell, Max Talbot, Jody Shelley, Andreas Nodl, Ben Holmstrom, Claude Giroux and James van Riemsdyk.

Comcast-Spectacor Chairman Ed Snider, Flyers GM Paul Holmgren and Head Coach Peter Laviolette will also be part of the program.

“Meet The Flyers” will debut on the Comcast Network on Wednesday, September 21 at 9:30 p.m., and replay on the following dates and times:
