Flyers Roster Moves, Injuries

Chris Pronger is missing tonight's game against Carolina with a virus. Braydon Coburn has a mid-body injury and might be available for WED on Long Island against the Islanders. The Flyers called up Kevin Marshall and Marc-Andre Bourdon to replace them but had to move Harry Zolnierczyk to Trenton and place Erik Gustafsson (wrist) on LTIR to clear enough cap space. They came into the game

Courtesy: Philadelphia Flyers and the NHL The Philadelphia Flyers have collected points in seven of their eight games so far in November, and while that should be satisfying, it also raises some concerns.  The Flyers have a nasty habit of playing down to their opponents.  Looking back at the games against Carolina Hurricanes , Florida Panthers , Phoenix Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets , the inability to close the game out early has to raise some flags.  A goal in the final minute against the Panthers made for a hectic finish where Florida came just within seconds of sending the game into overtime

Talbot thrilled his old buddy Crosby is returning

Flyers center Max Talbot spent a few minutes after Monday's morning skate talking about his long-time friend and former teammate Sidney Crosby, who will make his season debut tonight after being sidelined since January with a concussion.
