You’ve already seen Eklund’s post on James van Riemsdyk. Three Flyers said today at the morning skate that the hit from Bobby Butler in the FIRST Ottawa game represents the initial head shot on JVR. There were subsequent hits in the games that followed, but this is likely the root cause.
