Feeling better by the day, Flyers center Danny Briere believes he’s getting close to a return from a Jan. 21 concussion. Besides having had no symptoms for a few days, Briere felt good after making it through Monday’s optional practice taking some contact. Briere is feeling so good that he says he’s not ruling out playing Tuesday night when the Flyers play host to the New York Islanders, but that seems unlikely.
