Ovechkin hits Philly surging

Alex Ovechkin arrived to Philly finally on a hot streak. It’s been a long time coming for the Washington Capitals superstar, who entered a game Thursday night against the Flyers with four goals in his last four games. It’s been a tough couple of seasons for Ovechkin, who averaged 53.8 goals over his first five NHL seasons but slipped to a career-low 32 last season and 32 so far this season. “My jobs is to goals,” Ovechkin said. The Caps need Ovechkin to playing a starring role because they’re in a fight just to make the playoffs
