Timonen, Meszaros out for Caps game

The Flyers official comment on defensemen Kimmo Timonen, Andrej Meszaros and Braydon Coburn missing practice on Saturday was “maintainence day.” Turns out this wasn’t exactly the truth. Timonen and Meszaros will be out of the Flyers’ lineup Sunday night with lower-body injuries. Both are out indefinitely, the team reported on Twitter. Timonen’s absence will end his consecutive-game streak at 248 games, the eighth longest current streak in the league. Andreas Lilja and rookie Erik Gustafsson will replace Timonen and Meszaros in the Flyers’ lineup against the Caps
