Well it seems like the conference finals are not going to be the dud that some have said they were. Serves you right for counting the chickens before they hatch.

So why did it take Stevens 4 games before changing up the lines? Hitchcock wouldn't have made it out of the first period in game 1 before he would have mixed them up. Stevens needs to be more proactive in getting the matchups he wants.

I cant remember seeing Hatcher looking that pissed off in that fight. The series is finally getting good.

Why no pregame coverage on Versus? It is the freaking NHL conference finals. Instead Versus thinks I should be watching some dumbass who almost kill himself on a skateboard or being stepped on by a bull. There is plenty of stuff they could use to fill it.

The battle of PA in the conference finals

Well the Flyers now know who they will face.

The Flyers beat seed #3, then seed #1. Next seed #2.

Umberger picked a great time to get hot, lets hope it continues over to the next series.
Umberger scored 6 of his 13 regular seasons goals against the Penguins. He is always hot against the Penguins.

We wont know the schedule until the Stars/Sharks series is finished. Could be tonight, could be Wednesday night.

Flyers take Montreal in 5

Well, wasn't that something.
And then there was 4, well soon.

For once, it wasn't the Flyers having goalie issues in the playoffs.
3 goals in under 3 minutes in tonights game, oh man.

I bet Montreal wish they didn't take that 2nd round pick for trading away Huet. Looking at Price's and Huet's numbers in Montreal they were pretty comparable. To go into the playoffs with a couple rookie goaltenders, wow.

Biron was solid. Officiating was awful, again. Jones as I see it is the best player that no one is talking about. Umberger what can you say.

Would rather see the Flyers play the Rangers in the conference finals, but I don't see them coming back from 3-0, now 3-1. So probably have to shutdown Sid next. I do hope the fan tactics don't continue into next round, but I suspect they will.

Dear Pflyers, Just got back from Montreal, have you seen their fans defile the Rocky statue, and now on a site called Habs inside/out, telling folks there to burn American flags at the game tonight, and saying in La Presse and the Gazette that Biron and Briere were seem coming out of a Gay Montreal night spot last night. We need to get the message out, No Prisoners Tonight.

I just don't get the trash talking. Cheer your team on, sure. But the rest of the stuff is mostly crap.

One thing I do know the NHL needs to do is to go with all high-speed cameras. The cameras the NFL uses to do those super slow motion replays.
