  1. Flyers look confident and loose, which resulted in a strong effort for three periods. A combination of youth and veterans look very good in every aspect of the game. I only hope that the “Train” is okay and not headed for any IR. Wayne took exception to a dirty hit by Michael Haley on a Flyers’ teammate. Simmonds taught Haley a serious lesson about going over the line. Hopefully, it sunk in. But, and this is a huge but, and we cannot afford to have out of the lineup. There’s a 6-6 fella, who was dispatched to Lehigh Valley after a strong camp, who enjoys playing an enforcer role. Sam Morin needs to be called up now. I applaud Wayne’s intervention. There was a obvious lack of this philosophy last season and it was at times, downright embarrassing. But, Wayne is far too valuable to risk injury. Flyers’ brass were on record in praising Morin as the second-coming of Chris Pronger. I’LL TAKE THAT!
